5 arrested with fake papers - TOI Chennai, 17 May 2008

Chennai: Five persons were arrested in the city on Friday after they tried to procure visas to the US producing false documents. According to police, Amar Jothi Singh, Arjinder Singh and Amar Singh tried to procure U S visas with the help of Baljot Singh and Sundar Singh by showing an Hyderabad address. All the five hail from Punjab. They claimed that they were going to USA for a religious musical trip organised by a Sikh community in Lamachigan. The officials at the US consulate in Chennai alerted the police after finding that the documents were fake. They have been arrested
